Because The Dollywood Foundation buys books at national scale and handles the logistics, each book costs our program only about $2.60, shipping included. That works out to about $31 for a full year of books for one child.

Lean by design
The Waltham program is run by volunteers. The national organization takes care of book selection, publishing partnerships and mailing, so almost all of the money we raise goes straight to books and postage.
